The Lehigh and Northampton Counties Revolving Loan Fund (LNCRLF) offers small businesses in the Lehigh Valley access to mezzanine financing for their start-up and expansion projects. Established in 1987, the fund works together with other financing sources, including banks and local and state programs, to complete the project at hand – whether to purchase equipment, acquire property, or support working capital needs.
The primary goal of the LNCRLF is to create jobs, requiring one new job for each $10,000 borrowed from the fund. The fund is operated under the guidelines published in the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) Revolving Loan Fund Standard Terms and Conditions.
The LNCRLF is served by an 8-member Board comprised of representatives from Lehigh and Northampton Counties and the Cities of Bethlehem and Easton. The Board is responsible for all loan decisions submitted by the Fund Administrator for consideration, meeting on a regular basis and as needed throughout the year to conduct the business of the organization.
